How to Display Collaborative Posts in My Feed?

An Instagram Collab (Collaborative) Post is an Instagram post that shows up on two Instagram profiles. The creator of the original post can invite another account as a collaborator. If they agree, their username will be added to the post and the post will be shared with their followers. It will also show on their profile.

Here is an example of a collaborative post :

There are two requirements to display a collaborative post in a feed using Spotlight:

  1. You must be using an Instagram Business Account. If you’re using a Personal account, you have to switch your Instagram account to Business account. We provide instructions on how to do this in our documentation. Note that any Instagram Personal account can be converted to a Business account for free at any time.
  2. You must be the owner of the post. If you were invited as a collaborator on the post, Spotlight will not be able to display the post due to Instagram’s API limitation.

If you've met both requirements and your collaborative posts aren't showing up on your feed, please contact support and we'll help you figure it out.
