Support

Many developers can create good plugins, but few can back them with good support! The developers behind this plugin are the few good ones. And the plugin works beautifully too!

Frequently asked questions

Spotlight is ideal for anyone who uses Instagram themselves or has clients who use Instagram and also has a website that they care about.

Keeping up with and growing both your Instagram account and your website takes a lot of time. Spotlight cuts that time in half by using your Instagram content for your website!

Add an Instagram feed to your website to keep it looking fresh while only creating content for one platform – Instagram.

Site visitors may also be finding you from other places, not just Instagram, so adding a “Follow” button near your eye-catching posts will turn passers-by into followers.

And let’s not forget about social proof. Whether on a blog or e-commerce website, showing a website visitor that others like them are engaging with you is a powerful message.

Built using the same technologies as Netflix and Instagram, we avoid iFrames and other hacks to make sure performance isn’t impacted. Dynamic loading is applied to make sure your page-loading times before and after installation are practically the same, both on the front-end and the back-end.

Instagram does sometimes have trouble with its service, so Spotlight uses its own clever caching system to make sure your feeds are always backed up and visible to site visitors, even when there are issues out of our (or your) control. All media is optimized and saved locally on your website to make sure it’s a seamless experience.

Absolutely. Whether you’re a freelancer or an agency, Spotlight can be used on your own sites and client sites.

The biggest concern we’ve seen with this is clients not wanting to provide you with their IG login details to connect their account to Spotlight. That’s why we created the Access Token Generator so your clients can safely give you the access you need to connect their IG account without ever sharing login details.

No. We’ve built Spotlight to give you all the customization options you may need in a point-and-click interface. If you do know a bit of CSS and wish to customize it further, Spotlight uses a number of classes throughout the feed display that you can style further.

No, at the moment Spotlight is a WordPress plugin and only works on WordPress sites.
