We’re excited to announce the launch of Spotlight’s new Analytics feature! 🚀
It’s another step to fuelling confident social media marketers just like yourself.
Read on to learn more about what it has to offer.
What is Spotlight Analytics?
Actionable metrics are key to creating Instagram feeds that convert. Instagram itself provides you with insights into how your posts are performing. Now, with Spotlight’s brand new Performance plan, you’ll get your most important detailed insights in one place.
With this information, you’ll be able to adjust your feeds to suit your site and, more importantly, your audience.
Spotlight Analytics includes 4 main metrics:
Let’s take a look at each one in more detail.
As was pointed out earlier, Instagram’s app does give you insights into how your posts are performing if you have a free Instagram Business account. With Spotlight, we’ve now brought that data into your WordPress dashboard.
You’ll be able to keep track of new followers, likes, and comments, and keep tabs on your follower growth all without leaving your WordPress dashboard.
Post Insights is designed to help you monitor your individual Instagram posts. You’ll be able to keep track of which posts are generating the most likes and comments, as well as which post type your audience is connecting with.
Are your Instagram followers gravitating towards videos rather than photos? Are galleries generating any interest? With this data, you’ll be able to focus your marketing efforts to create more of the content that your audience engages with the most.
What’s great about Spotlight’s Post Insights is that you can easily switch between all your accounts within one dashboard. You can even set date ranges to track special occasions, holidays, sales periods, etc.
Performance is key to any marketing strategy and follower engagement is directly linked to it. With Spotlight, you can now track which posts and feeds are receiving the most clicks by your website visitors.
⚪️ Top Tip: Create different Instagram feeds for different parts of your website to easily track which ones are performing better. That way, you can make data-driven adjustments to improve your social media strategy. Spotlight lets you create unlimited Instagram feeds on every plan.
If you’re using Spotlight’s Promote feature, then Promotions Analytics is for you. You can now track how your visitors are responding to your shoppable and link in bio feeds thanks to Spotlight’s click-tracking.
You can switch between feeds and instances to get in-depth analytics for each one and all the tracking is completely anonymous. No need to worry about GDPR or other privacy issues since Spotlight simply tracks click count, not who is clicking on your feeds.
How do I get Spotlight Analytics?
To get your hands on these juicy stats, all you need to do is purchase the Spotlight Performance plan. Tracking starts the moment it’s enabled, so the earlier you do it, the quicker you’ll start seeing that actionable feedback!
